Poliwhirl is a Stage 1 Water Pokémon with 60 HP. The card lists level 28. In the Pokédex this is Poliwhirl (#061), generation 1 (Kanto). The card says it evolves from Poliwag. In this catalog that name is Poliwag (#060). The card lists Poliwrath, Poliwrath (#062) and Politoed, Politoed (#186) under evolves to.

Ken Sugimori illustrated this card. The same name is on 1,112 other cards in the catalog.

Poliwhirl (#061) has 17 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 16 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2000 to 2024. The earliest other card is Poliwhirl 57/130 in Base Set 2 (2000). Both list 60 HP. Both list the rarity Uncommon. 16 other cards of Poliwhirl list a different HP.

The attack Amnesia lists no damage number. The cost is Water, Water. Choose 1 of the Defending Pokémon's attacks. That Pokémon can't use that attack during your opponent's next turn. Doubleslap is another attack lists 30× damage. The cost is Water, Water, Colorless. Flip 2 coins. This attack does 30 damage times the number of heads. Weakness is Grass ×2. Retreat cost is 1. The flavor text reads "Capable of living in or out of water. When out of water, it sweats to keep its body slimy."

I keep a set binder for Base, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Base set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Poliwhirl can fill a slot in Generation 1 binder (Kanto). I still need this card.
