Psyduck 88/110 · Legendary Collection

Legendary Collection is a set in the Other series. It was released on May 24, 2002. The printed size is 110, and the checklist is the same length. Psyduck is 88/110, in position 88 of 110 on this checklist. Before it is 87 Ponyta, and after it is 89 Rattata. The listed rarity is Common.

Psyduck is a Basic Water Pokémon with 50 HP. The card lists level 16. In the Pokédex this is Psyduck (#054), generation 1 (Kanto). The card lists Golduck, Golduck (#055) under evolves to.

Mitsuhiro Arita illustrated this card. The same name is on 721 other cards in the catalog.

Psyduck (#054) has 37 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 29 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 1999 to 2026. The earliest other card is Psyduck 20/53 in Wizards Black Star Promos (1999). Both list 50 HP. The rarity there is Promo, and here it is Common. Kagemaru Himeno illustrated that card, and Mitsuhiro Arita illustrated this one. 27 other cards of Psyduck list a different HP.

The attack Dizziness lists no damage number. The cost is Psychic. Draw a card. Water Gun is another attack lists 20+ damage. The cost is Water, Colorless. Does 20 damage plus 10 more damage for each Water Energy attached to Psyduck but not used to pay for this attack's Energy cost. You can't add more than 20 damage in this way. Weakness is Lightning ×2. Retreat cost is 1. The flavor text reads "It is often seen holding its head in its paws, as if it were suffering from a headache."

I keep a set binder for Legendary Collection, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Legendary Collection set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Psyduck can fill a slot in Generation 1 binder (Kanto). Themed lists that include this exact card are Mitsuhiro Arita cards. I still need this card.
