Surskit 1/101 · Plasma Blast

Plasma Blast is a set in the Black & White series. It was released on August 14, 2013. The printed size is 101. This checklist is longer, at 105 cards. Surskit is 1/101, in position 1 of 105 on this checklist. The next card is 2 Masquerain. The listed rarity is Common.

Surskit is a Basic Grass Pokémon with 50 HP. In the Pokédex this is Surskit (#283), generation 3 (Hoenn). The card lists Masquerain, Masquerain (#284) under evolves to.

Naoyo Kimura illustrated this card. The same name is on 256 other cards in the catalog.

Surskit (#283) has 12 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 12 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2004 to 2023. The earliest other card is Surskit 76/101 in Hidden Legends (2004). Both list 50 HP. Both list the rarity Common. Toshinao Aoki illustrated that card, and Naoyo Kimura illustrated this one. 2 other cards of Surskit list a different HP.

The attack Sweet Scent lists no damage number. The cost is Grass. Heal 20 damage from 1 of your Pokémon. Weakness is Fire ×2. Retreat cost is 1. The flavor text reads "It appears as if it is skating on water. It draws prey with a sweet scent from the tip of its head."

I keep a set binder for Plasma Blast, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Plasma Blast set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Surskit can fill a slot in Generation 3 binder (Hoenn). I still need this card.
