Excadrill-EX 82/113 · Legendary Treasures

Legendary Treasures is a set in the Black & White series. It was released on November 6, 2013. The printed size is 113. This checklist is longer, at 140 cards. Excadrill-EX is 82/113, in position 82 of 140 on this checklist. Before it is 81 Gallade, and after it is 83 Stunfisk. The listed rarity is Rare Holo EX.

Excadrill-EX is a Basic EX Fighting Pokémon with 180 HP. In the Pokédex this is Excadrill (#530), generation 5 (Unova).

Ryo Ueda illustrated this card. The same name is on 462 other cards in the catalog.

Excadrill (#530) has 20 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 12 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2011 to 2026. The earliest other card is Excadrill 56/98 in Emerging Powers (2011). That card is named Excadrill, while this one is Excadrill-EX. That card lists 110 HP, and this one lists 180 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Rare Holo EX. 5ban Graphics illustrated that card, and Ryo Ueda illustrated this one. Retreat cost there is 2, and here it is 3. 20 other cards of Excadrill list a different HP.

The attack Dig Out lists 40 damage. The cost is Colorless, Colorless. Discard the top card of your deck. If that card is a basic Energy card, attach it to 1 of your Pokémon. Break Ground is another attack lists 120 damage. The cost is Fighting, Fighting, Colorless, Colorless. Does 10 damage to each of your Benched Pokémon. (Don't apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokémon.) Weakness is Water ×2. Resistance is Lightning -20. Retreat cost is 3. The card text says: Pokémon-EX rule: When a Pokémon-EX has been Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards.

I keep a set binder for Legendary Treasures, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Legendary Treasures set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Excadrill can fill a slot in Generation 5 binder (Unova). I still need this card.
