Golurk 72/101 · Noble Victories

Noble Victories is a set in the Black & White series. It was released on November 16, 2011. The printed size is 101. This checklist is longer, at 102 cards. Golurk is 72/101, in position 72 of 102 on this checklist. Before it is 71 Golett, and after it is 73 Terrakion. The listed rarity is Rare.

Golurk is a Stage 1 Fighting Pokémon with 130 HP. In the Pokédex this is Golurk (#623), generation 5 (Unova). The card says it evolves from Golett. In this catalog that name is Golett (#622).

Kouki Saitou illustrated this card. The same name is on 652 other cards in the catalog.

Golurk (#623) has 17 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 13 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2012 to 2025. The earliest other card is Golurk 59/124 in Dragons Exalted (2012). Both list 130 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Rare. Ryo Ueda illustrated that card, and Kouki Saitou illustrated this one. 11 other cards of Golurk list a different HP.

The attack Hammer Arm lists 60 damage. The cost is Fighting, Fighting, Colorless. Discard the top card of your opponent's deck. Hurricane Punch is another attack lists 50× damage. The cost is Fighting, Fighting, Colorless, Colorless. Flip 4 coins. This attack does 50 damage times the number of heads. Weakness is Water ×2. Resistance is Lightning -20. Retreat cost is 4. The flavor text reads "It is said that Golurk were ordered to protect people and Pokémon by the ancient people who made them."

I keep a set binder for Noble Victories, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Noble Victories set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Golurk can fill a slot in Generation 5 binder (Unova). I still need this card.
