Hydreigon 103/99 · Next Destinies

Next Destinies is a set in the Black & White series. It was released on February 8, 2012. The printed size is 99. This checklist is longer, at 103 cards. Hydreigon is 103/99, in position 103 of 103 on this checklist. The card before it is 102 Zoroark. The collector number is above the printed set size of 99. The listed rarity is Rare Secret.

Hydreigon is a Stage 2 Darkness Pokémon with 150 HP. In the Pokédex this is Hydreigon (#635), generation 5 (Unova). The card says it evolves from Zweilous. In this catalog that name is Zweilous (#634).

5ban Graphics illustrated this card. The same name is on 1,629 other cards in the catalog.

Hydreigon (#635) has 24 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 16 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2011 to 2026. The earliest other card is Hydreigon 79/101 in Noble Victories (2011). Both list 150 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Rare Secret. 18 other cards of Hydreigon list a different HP.

Dark Aura is listed as Ability. All Energy attached to this Pokémon are Darkness Energy instead of their usual type. The attack Berserker Blade lists 60 damage. The cost is Darkness, Darkness, Darkness, Darkness. Does 40 damage to 2 of your opponent's Benched Pokémon. (Don't apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokémon.) Weakness is Fighting ×2. Resistance is Psychic -20. Retreat cost is 3. The flavor text reads "This extremely rare Pokémon is a different color than usual. It is very hard to find."

I keep a set binder for Next Destinies, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Next Destinies set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Hydreigon can fill a slot in Generation 5 binder (Unova). I still need this card.
