Simipour 29/99 · Next Destinies

Simipour is Pokédex #516, generation 5 (Unova). Simipour is a Stage 1 Water Pokémon with 90 HP. The card says it evolves from Panpour. In this catalog that name is Panpour (#515).

Simipour sits at 29/99 in Next Destinies, position 29 of 103. Before it is 28 Panpour, and after it is 30 Basculin. The set belongs to the Black & White series. It was released on February 8, 2012. The printed size is 99. This checklist is longer, at 103 cards. The listed rarity is Rare.

The attack Collect lists no damage number. The cost is Water. Draw 3 cards. Stadium Wave is another attack lists 30+ damage. The cost is Water, Colorless. If there is any Stadium card in play, this attack does 30 more damage and the Defending Pokémon is now Asleep. Weakness is Lightning ×2. Retreat cost is 1. The flavor text reads "The tuft on its head holds water. When the level runs low, it replenishes the tuft by siphoning up water with its tail."

Simipour (#516) has 10 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 9 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2011 to 2025. The earliest other card is Simipour 34/114 in Black & White (2011). Both list 90 HP. The rarity there is Uncommon, and here it is Rare. Kagemaru Himeno illustrated that card, and Akira Komayama illustrated this one. 5 other cards of Simipour list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Akira Komayama. I count 239 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Next Destinies set binder is where a full Next Destinies set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Simipour can fill a slot in Generation 5 binder (Unova). I still need this card.
