Rayquaza 128/124 · Dragons Exalted

Rayquaza is Pokédex #384, generation 3 (Hoenn). Rayquaza is a Basic Dragon Pokémon with 120 HP.

Rayquaza sits at 128/124 in Dragons Exalted, position 128 of 128. The card before it is 127 Krookodile. The set belongs to the Black & White series. It was released on August 15, 2012. The printed size is 124. This checklist is longer, at 128 cards. The collector number is above the printed set size of 124. The listed rarity is Rare Secret.

The attack Dragon Pulse lists 40 damage. The cost is Lightning. Discard the top 2 cards of your deck. Shred is another attack lists 90 damage. The cost is Fire, Lightning, Colorless. This attack's damage isn't affected by any effects on the Defending Pokémon. Weakness is Dragon ×2. Retreat cost is 3. The flavor text reads "This extremely rare Pokémon is a different color than usual. It is very hard to find."

Rayquaza (#384) has 59 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 31 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2003 to 2026. The earliest other card is Rayquaza ex 39/40 in Nintendo Black Star Promos (2003). That card is named Rayquaza ex, while this one is Rayquaza. That card lists 100 HP, and this one lists 120 HP. The rarity there is Promo, and here it is Rare Secret. Ryo Ueda illustrated that card, and 5ban Graphics illustrated this one. Retreat cost there is 1, and here it is 3. 49 other cards of Rayquaza list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads 5ban Graphics. I count 1,629 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Dragons Exalted set binder is where a full Dragons Exalted set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Rayquaza can fill a slot in Generation 3 binder (Hoenn). Themed lists that include this exact card are Groudon, Kyogre, and Rayquaza and All Rayquaza cards. I still need this card.
