Sawk 69/124 · Dragons Exalted

Sawk is Pokédex #539, generation 5 (Unova). Sawk is a Basic Fighting Pokémon with 90 HP.

Sawk sits at 69/124 in Dragons Exalted, position 69 of 128. Before it is 68 Throh, and after it is 70 Stunfisk. The set belongs to the Black & White series. It was released on August 15, 2012. The printed size is 124. This checklist is longer, at 128 cards. The listed rarity is Uncommon.

The attack Defensive Stance lists no damage number. The cost is Colorless. Heal 30 damage from this Pokémon. Switch this Pokémon with 1 of your Benched Pokémon. Karate Chop is another attack lists 70- damage. The cost is Fighting, Colorless, Colorless. Does 70 damage minus 10 damage for each damage counter on this Pokémon. Weakness is Psychic ×2. Retreat cost is 1. The flavor text reads "Tying their belts gets them pumped and makes their punches more destructive. Disturbing their training angers them."

Sawk (#539) has 7 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 6 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2011 to 2025. The earliest other card is Sawk 62/114 in Black & White (2011). Both list 90 HP. The rarity there is Rare, and here it is Uncommon. Naoki Saito illustrated that card, and Masakazu Fukuda illustrated this one. 2 other cards of Sawk list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Masakazu Fukuda. I count 471 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Dragons Exalted set binder is where a full Dragons Exalted set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Sawk can fill a slot in Generation 5 binder (Unova). I still need this card.
