Gabite 89/124 · Dragons Exalted

Gabite is Pokédex #444, generation 4 (Sinnoh). Gabite is a Stage 1 Dragon Pokémon with 80 HP. The card says it evolves from Gible. In this catalog that name is Gible (#443). The card lists Garchomp, Garchomp (#445) under evolves to.

Gabite sits at 89/124 in Dragons Exalted, position 89 of 128. Before it is 88 Gabite, and after it is 90 Garchomp. The set belongs to the Black & White series. It was released on August 15, 2012. The printed size is 124. This checklist is longer, at 128 cards. The listed rarity is Uncommon.

Dragon Call is listed as Ability. Once during your turn (before your attack), you may search your deck for a Dragon Pokémon, reveal it, and put it into your hand. Shuffle your deck afterward. The attack Dragonslice lists 20 damage. The cost is Water, Fighting. Weakness is Dragon ×2. Retreat cost is 1. The flavor text reads "It loves sparkly things. It seeks treasures in caves and hoards the loot in its nest."

Gabite (#444) has 14 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 14 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2007 to 2026. The earliest other card is Gabite 48/123 in Mysterious Treasures (2007). Both list 80 HP. Both list the rarity Uncommon. Ken Sugimori illustrated that card, and Kagemaru Himeno illustrated this one. 5 other cards of Gabite list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Kagemaru Himeno. I count 656 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Dragons Exalted set binder is where a full Dragons Exalted set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Gabite can fill a slot in Generation 4 binder (Sinnoh). I still need this card.
