Watchog 113/135 · Plasma Storm

Watchog is Pokédex #505, generation 5 (Unova). Watchog is a Stage 1 Team Plasma Colorless Pokémon with 90 HP. The card says it evolves from Patrat. In this catalog that name is Patrat (#504).

Watchog sits at 113/135 in Plasma Storm, position 113 of 138. Before it is 112 Watchog, and after it is 114 Bouffalant. The set belongs to the Black & White series. It was released on February 6, 2013. The printed size is 135. This checklist is longer, at 138 cards. The listed rarity is Rare.

The attack Second Bite lists 20+ damage. The cost is Colorless, Colorless. Does 10 more damage for each damage counter on the Defending Pokémon. Low Kick is another attack lists 60 damage. The cost is Colorless, Colorless, Colorless. Weakness is Fighting ×2. Retreat cost is 1. The flavor text reads "Using luminescent matter, it makes its eyes and body glow and stuns attacking opponents."

Watchog (#505) has 10 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 8 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2011 to 2026. The earliest other card is Watchog 79/114 in Black & White (2011). Both list 90 HP. The rarity there is Uncommon, and here it is Rare. match illustrated that card, and 5ban Graphics illustrated this one. 3 other cards of Watchog list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads 5ban Graphics. I count 1,629 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Plasma Storm set binder is where a full Plasma Storm set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Watchog can fill a slot in Generation 5 binder (Unova). I still need this card.
