Victini-EX 18/135 · Plasma Storm

Victini is Pokédex #494, generation 5 (Unova). Victini-EX is a Basic EX Fire Pokémon with 110 HP.

Victini-EX sits at 18/135 in Plasma Storm, position 18 of 138. Before it is 17 Infernape, and after it is 19 Pansear. The set belongs to the Black & White series. It was released on February 6, 2013. The printed size is 135. This checklist is longer, at 138 cards. The listed rarity is Rare Holo EX.

The attack Turbo Energize lists no damage number. The cost is Fire. Search your deck for 2 basic Energy cards and attach them to your Benched Pokémon in any way you like. Shuffle your deck afterward. Intensifying Burn is another attack lists 50+ damage. The cost is Fire, Colorless, Colorless. If the Defending Pokémon is a Pokémon-EX, this attack does 50 more damage. Weakness is Water ×2. Retreat cost is 1. The card text says: Pokémon-EX rule: When a Pokémon-EX has been Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards.

Victini (#494) has 37 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 28 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2011 to 2026. The earliest other card is Victini BW32/101 in BW Black Star Promos (2011). That card is named Victini, while this one is Victini-EX. That card lists 60 HP, and this one lists 110 HP. The rarity there is Promo, and here it is Rare Holo EX. 5ban Graphics illustrated that card, and Eske Yoshinob illustrated this one. 35 other cards of Victini list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Eske Yoshinob. I count 177 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Plasma Storm set binder is where a full Plasma Storm set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Victini can fill a slot in Generation 5 binder (Unova). I still need this card.
