Lombre 30/135 · Plasma Storm

Lombre is Pokédex #271, generation 3 (Hoenn). Lombre is a Stage 1 Water Pokémon with 80 HP. The card says it evolves from Lotad. In this catalog that name is Lotad (#270). The card lists Ludicolo, Ludicolo (#272) under evolves to.

Lombre sits at 30/135 in Plasma Storm, position 30 of 138. Before it is 29 Lotad, and after it is 31 Ludicolo. The set belongs to the Black & White series. It was released on February 6, 2013. The printed size is 135. This checklist is longer, at 138 cards. The listed rarity is Uncommon.

The attack Jump On lists 20+ damage. The cost is Colorless, Colorless. Flip a coin. If heads, this attack does 20 more damage. Wave Splash is another attack lists 50 damage. The cost is Water, Colorless, Colorless. Weakness is Lightning ×2. Retreat cost is 2. The flavor text reads "It has a mischievous spirit. If it spots an angler, it will tug on the fishing line to interfere."

Lombre (#271) has 13 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 11 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2003 to 2025. The earliest other card is Lombre 45/100 in Sandstorm (2003). That card lists 60 HP, and this one lists 80 HP. Both list the rarity Uncommon. Tomokazu Komiya illustrated that card, and Suwama Chiaki illustrated this one. Retreat cost there is 1, and here it is 2. 10 other cards of Lombre list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Suwama Chiaki. I count 102 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Plasma Storm set binder is where a full Plasma Storm set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Lombre can fill a slot in Generation 3 binder (Hoenn). I still need this card.
