Clefable 98/135 · Plasma Storm

Clefable is Pokédex #036, generation 1 (Kanto). Clefable is a Stage 1 Colorless Pokémon with 90 HP. The card says it evolves from Clefairy. In this catalog that name is Clefairy (#035).

Clefable sits at 98/135 in Plasma Storm, position 98 of 138. Before it is 97 Clefairy, and after it is 99 Doduo. The set belongs to the Black & White series. It was released on February 6, 2013. The printed size is 135. This checklist is longer, at 138 cards. The listed rarity is Rare.

Moon Guidance is listed as Ability. Once during your turn (before your attack), you may flip a coin. If heads, search your deck for a card that evolves from 1 of your Pokémon and put it onto that Pokémon. (This counts as evolving that Pokémon.) Shuffle your deck afterward. The attack Moon Impact lists 50 damage. The cost is Colorless, Colorless, Colorless. Weakness is Fighting ×2. Retreat cost is 1. The flavor text reads "Their ears are sensitive enough to hear a pin drop from over a mile away, so they're usually found in quiet places."

Clefable (#036) has 28 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 24 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 1999 to 2026. The earliest other card is Clefable 1/64 in Jungle (1999). That card lists 70 HP, and this one lists 90 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Rare. Mitsuhiro Arita illustrated that card, and Kagemaru Himeno illustrated this one. Retreat cost there is 2, and here it is 1. 25 other cards of Clefable list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Kagemaru Himeno. I count 656 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Plasma Storm set binder is where a full Plasma Storm set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Clefable can fill a slot in Generation 1 binder (Kanto). I still need this card.
