Druddigon BW80/101 · BW Black Star Promos

Druddigon is Pokédex #621, generation 5 (Unova). Druddigon is a Basic Team Plasma Dragon Pokémon with 100 HP.

Druddigon sits at BW80/101 in BW Black Star Promos, position 80 of 101. Before it is BW79 Landorus, and after it is BW81 Thundurus-EX. The set belongs to the Black & White series. It was released on March 1, 2011. The printed size is 101, and the checklist is the same length. The listed rarity is Promo.

The attack Taunt lists no damage number. The cost is Colorless. Switch 1 of your opponent's Benched Pokémon with the Defending Pokémon. Boost Claw is another attack lists 60 damage. The cost is Fire, Water, Colorless. During your next turn, each of this Pokémon's attacks does 30 more damage (before applying Weakness and Resistance). Weakness is Dragon ×2. Retreat cost is 2. The flavor text reads "It runs through the narrow tunnels formed by Excadrill and Onix. It uses its sharp claws to catch prey."

Druddigon (#621) has 14 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 13 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2011 to 2025. The earliest other card is Druddigon 89/101 in Noble Victories (2011). Both list 100 HP. The rarity there is Rare, and here it is Promo. Masakazu Fukuda illustrated that card, and 5ban Graphics illustrated this one. 11 other cards of Druddigon list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads 5ban Graphics. I count 1,629 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

BW Black Star Promos set binder is where a full BW Black Star Promos set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Druddigon can fill a slot in Generation 5 binder (Unova). I still need this card.
