Jynx 30/132 · Secret Wonders

Jynx is Pokédex #124, generation 1 (Kanto). Jynx is a Basic Psychic Pokémon with 70 HP. The card lists level 30.

Jynx sits at 30/132 in Secret Wonders, position 30 of 132. Before it is 29 Golem, and after it is 31 Magmortar. The set belongs to the Diamond & Pearl series. It was released on November 1, 2007. The printed size is 132, and the checklist is the same length. The listed rarity is Rare.

The attack Icy Kiss lists 30 damage. The cost is Water, Colorless. If Jynx was damaged by an attack during your opponent's last turn, the Defending Pokémon is now Paralyzed. Lovely Kiss is another attack lists no damage number. The cost is Psychic, Colorless. Move 2 damage counters from Jynx to the Defending Pokémon. If Smoochum is anywhere under Jynx, move 4 damage counters instead. Weakness is Psychic +20. Retreat cost is 2. The flavor text reads "It cries sound like human speech. However, it is impossible to tell what it is trying to say."

Jynx (#124) has 26 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 25 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 1999 to 2026. The earliest other card is Jynx 31/102 in Base (1999). Both list 70 HP. The rarity there is Uncommon, and here it is Rare. Ken Sugimori illustrated that card, and Kagemaru Himeno illustrated this one. 19 other cards of Jynx list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Kagemaru Himeno. I count 656 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Secret Wonders set binder is where a full Secret Wonders set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Jynx can fill a slot in Generation 1 binder (Kanto). I still need this card.
