Nidoking is Pokédex #034, generation 1 (Kanto). Nidoking is a Stage 2 Psychic Pokémon with 130 HP. The card lists level 55. The card says it evolves from Nidorino. In this catalog that name is Nidorino (#033).

Nidoking sits at 34/132 in Secret Wonders, position 34 of 132. Before it is 33 Mothim, and after it is 35 Pidgeot. The set belongs to the Diamond & Pearl series. It was released on November 1, 2007. The printed size is 132, and the checklist is the same length. The listed rarity is Rare.

The attack Poison Rub lists 20 damage. The cost is Colorless, Colorless. The Defending Pokémon is now Poisoned. Before doing damage, you may switch 1 of the Defending Pokémon with 1 of your opponent's Benched Pokémon. The new Defending Pokémon is now Poisoned. Pride Attack is another attack lists 60+ damage. The cost is Psychic, Psychic, Colorless, Colorless. Flip a coin for each Nidoqueen on your Bench. This attack does 60 damage plus 30 more damage for each heads. Weakness is Psychic +30. Retreat cost is 2. The flavor text reads "One swing of its mighty tail can snap a telephone pole as if it were a matchstick."

Nidoking (#034) has 21 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 15 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 1999 to 2025. The earliest other card is Nidoking 11/102 in Base (1999). That card lists 90 HP, and this one lists 130 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Rare. Ken Sugimori illustrated that card, and Kouki Saitou illustrated this one. Retreat cost there is 3, and here it is 2. 20 other cards of Nidoking list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Kouki Saitou. I count 652 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Secret Wonders set binder is where a full Secret Wonders set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Nidoking can fill a slot in Generation 1 binder (Kanto). I still need this card.
