Bronzong 16/100 · Majestic Dawn

Bronzong is Pokédex #437, generation 4 (Sinnoh). Bronzong is a Stage 1 Psychic Pokémon with 90 HP. The card lists level 44. The card says it evolves from Bronzor. In this catalog that name is Bronzor (#436).

Bronzong sits at 16/100 in Majestic Dawn, position 16 of 100. Before it is 15 Aerodactyl, and after it is 17 Empoleon. The set belongs to the Diamond & Pearl series. It was released on May 1, 2008. The printed size is 100, and the checklist is the same length. The listed rarity is Rare.

Cursed Alloy is listed as Poké-Body. As long as Bronzong is your Active Pokémon, put 1 damage counter on each of your opponent's Pokémon that has any Poké-Powers between turns. The attack Pain Amplifier lists no damage number. Put 1 damage counter on each of your opponent's Pokémon that already has damage counters on it. Coating is another attack lists 60 damage. The cost is Psychic, Colorless, Colorless. During your opponent's next turn, any damage done to Bronzong by attacks is reduced by 20 (after applying Weakness and Resistance). Weakness is Psychic +20. Resistance is Fire -20. Retreat cost is 3. The flavor text reads "One caused a news sensation when it was dug up at a construction site after a 2,000-year sleep."

Bronzong (#437) has 28 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 26 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2007 to 2026. The earliest other card is Bronzong 6/123 in Mysterious Treasures (2007). Both list 90 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Rare. Daisuke Ito illustrated that card, and Kouki Saitou illustrated this one. 19 other cards of Bronzong list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Kouki Saitou. I count 652 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Majestic Dawn set binder is where a full Majestic Dawn set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Bronzong can fill a slot in Generation 4 binder (Sinnoh). I still need this card.
