Minun 25/100 · Majestic Dawn

Minun is Pokédex #312, generation 3 (Hoenn). Minun is a Basic Lightning Pokémon with 60 HP. The card lists level 24.

Minun sits at 25/100 in Majestic Dawn, position 25 of 100. Before it is 24 Leafeon, and after it is 26 Omastar. The set belongs to the Diamond & Pearl series. It was released on May 1, 2008. The printed size is 100, and the checklist is the same length. The listed rarity is Rare.

The attack Pound lists 10 damage. The cost is Colorless. (+) Spark is another attack lists 20 damage. The cost is Lightning, Colorless. If Plusle is on your Bench, this attack does 20 damage to 1 of your opponent's Benched Pokémon. (Don't apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokémon.) Weakness is Fighting +10. Resistance is Metal -20. Retreat cost is 1. The flavor text reads "It cheers on friends. If its friends are losing, its body lets off more and more sparks."

Minun (#312) has 19 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 18 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2003 to 2023. The earliest other card is Minun 7/97 in Dragon (2003). That card lists 50 HP, and this one lists 60 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Rare. Atsuko Nishida illustrated that card, and Suwama Chiaki illustrated this one. 10 other cards of Minun list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Suwama Chiaki. I count 102 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Majestic Dawn set binder is where a full Majestic Dawn set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Minun can fill a slot in Generation 3 binder (Hoenn). I still need this card.
