Raichu 45/100 · Majestic Dawn

Raichu is Pokédex #026, generation 1 (Kanto). Raichu is a Stage 1 Lightning Pokémon with 90 HP. The card lists level 37. The card says it evolves from Pikachu. In this catalog that name is Pikachu (#025).

Raichu sits at 45/100 in Majestic Dawn, position 45 of 100. Before it is 44 Prinplup, and after it is 46 Scyther. The set belongs to the Diamond & Pearl series. It was released on May 1, 2008. The printed size is 100, and the checklist is the same length. The listed rarity is Uncommon.

The attack Agility lists 20 damage. The cost is Colorless. Flip a coin. If heads, prevent all effects of an attack, including damage, done to Raichu during your opponent's next turn. Thunderbolt is another attack lists 100 damage. The cost is Lightning, Lightning, Colorless. Discard all Energy cards attached to Raichu. Weakness is Fighting +20. Resistance is Metal -20. The flavor text reads "It can loose 100,000-volt bursts of electricity, instantly downing foes several times its size."

Raichu (#026) has 70 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 51 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 1999 to 2026. The earliest other card is Raichu 14/102 in Base (1999). That card lists 80 HP, and this one lists 90 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Uncommon. Ken Sugimori illustrated that card, and Daisuke Ito illustrated this one. 55 other cards of Raichu list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Daisuke Ito. I count 47 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Majestic Dawn set binder is where a full Majestic Dawn set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Raichu can fill a slot in Generation 1 binder (Kanto). I still need this card.
