Cradily 21/146 · Legends Awakened

Legends Awakened is a set in the Diamond & Pearl series. It was released on August 1, 2008. The printed size is 146, and the checklist is the same length. Cradily is 21/146, in position 21 of 146 on this checklist. Before it is 20 Bellossom, and after it is 22 Crawdaunt. The listed rarity is Rare.

Cradily is a Stage 2 Grass Pokémon with 120 HP. The card lists level 49. In the Pokédex this is Cradily (#346), generation 3 (Hoenn). The card says it evolves from Lileep. In this catalog that name is Lileep (#345).

Masakazu Fukuda illustrated this card. The same name is on 471 other cards in the catalog.

Cradily (#346) has 8 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 8 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2003 to 2024. The earliest other card is Cradily 3/100 in Sandstorm (2003). That card lists 100 HP, and this one lists 120 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Rare. Midori Harada illustrated that card, and Masakazu Fukuda illustrated this one. Retreat cost there is 2, and here it is 3. 7 other cards of Cradily list a different HP.

The attack Drain Down lists 30 damage. The cost is Grass. Before doing damage, you may switch 1 of the Defending Pokémon with 1 of your opponent's Benched Pokémon. If you do, this attack does 30 damage to the new Defending Pokémon. If the Defending Pokémon would be Knocked Out by this attack, you may remove all damage counters from Cradily. Acid is another attack lists 50 damage. The cost is Grass, Colorless, Colorless. The Defending Pokémon can't retreat during your opponent's next turn. Weakness is Fire +30. Retreat cost is 3. The flavor text reads "It lives in the shallows of warm seas. When the tide goes out, it digs up prey from beaches."

I keep a set binder for Legends Awakened, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Legends Awakened set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Cradily can fill a slot in Generation 3 binder (Hoenn). I still need this card.
