Mightyena 66/146 · Legends Awakened

Mightyena is Pokédex #262, generation 3 (Hoenn). Mightyena is a Stage 1 Darkness Pokémon with 90 HP. The card lists level 42. The card says it evolves from Poochyena. In this catalog that name is Poochyena (#261).

Mightyena sits at 66/146 in Legends Awakened, position 66 of 146. Before it is 65 Metang, and after it is 67 Ninjask. The set belongs to the Diamond & Pearl series. It was released on August 1, 2008. The printed size is 146, and the checklist is the same length. The listed rarity is Uncommon.

The attack Bite On lists 30 damage. The cost is Darkness. If the Defending Pokémon isn't an Evolved Pokémon, that Pokémon can't attack, retreat, or use any Poké-Powers during your opponent's next turn. Harass is another attack lists 10× damage. The cost is Colorless, Colorless. Does 10 damage times the number of Pokémon you have in play. Weakness is Fighting +20. Resistance is Psychic -20. Retreat cost is 1. The flavor text reads "It chases down prey in a pack. It will never disobey the commands of a skilled Trainer."

Mightyena (#262) has 23 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 17 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2003 to 2026. The earliest other card is Mightyena 10/109 in Ruby & Sapphire (2003). That card lists 70 HP, and this one lists 90 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Uncommon. Atsuko Nishida illustrated that card, and Masakazu Fukuda illustrated this one. 20 other cards of Mightyena list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Masakazu Fukuda. I count 471 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Legends Awakened set binder is where a full Legends Awakened set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Mightyena can fill a slot in Generation 3 binder (Hoenn). I still need this card.
