Stormfront is a set in the Diamond & Pearl series. It was released on November 1, 2008. The printed size is 100. This checklist is longer, at 106 cards. Gyarados is 19/100, in position 19 of 106 on this checklist. Before it is 18 Gengar, and after it is 20 Machamp. The listed rarity is Rare.

Gyarados is a Stage 1 Water Pokémon with 130 HP. The card lists level 52. In the Pokédex this is Gyarados (#130), generation 1 (Kanto). The card says it evolves from Magikarp. In this catalog that name is Magikarp (#129).

Midori Harada illustrated this card. The same name is on 352 other cards in the catalog.

Gyarados (#130) has 56 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 38 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 1999 to 2025. The earliest other card is Gyarados 6/102 in Base (1999). That card lists 100 HP, and this one lists 130 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Rare. Mitsuhiro Arita illustrated that card, and Midori Harada illustrated this one. 43 other cards of Gyarados list a different HP.

The attack Tail Revenge lists 30× damage. Does 30 damage times the number of Magikarp in your discard pile. Wreak Havoc is another attack lists 40 damage. The cost is Water, Colorless. Flip a coin until you get tails. For each heads, discard the top card from your opponent's deck. Dragon Beat is another attack lists 100 damage. The cost is Water, Water, Colorless, Colorless, Colorless. Flip a coin. If heads, discard an Energy card from each of your opponent's Pokémon. Weakness is Lightning +30. Resistance is Fighting -20. Retreat cost is 3.

I keep a set binder for Stormfront, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Stormfront set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Gyarados can fill a slot in Generation 1 binder (Kanto). I still need this card.
