Sableye 48/100 · Stormfront

Stormfront is a set in the Diamond & Pearl series. It was released on November 1, 2008. The printed size is 100. This checklist is longer, at 106 cards. Sableye is 48/100, in position 48 of 106 on this checklist. Before it is 47 Pupitar, and after it is 49 Scyther. The listed rarity is Uncommon.

Sableye is a Basic Darkness Pokémon with 60 HP. The card lists level 31. In the Pokédex this is Sableye (#302), generation 3 (Hoenn).

Kyoko Umemoto illustrated this card. The same name is on 174 other cards in the catalog.

Sableye (#302) has 31 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 26 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2003 to 2025. The earliest other card is Sableye 10/100 in Sandstorm (2003). Both list 60 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Uncommon. Hajime Kusajima illustrated that card, and Kyoko Umemoto illustrated this one. 23 other cards of Sableye list a different HP.

Overeager is listed as Poké-Body. If Sableye is your Active Pokémon at the beginning of the game, you go first. (If each player's Active Pokémon has the Overeager Poké-Body, this power does nothing.) The attack Impersonate lists no damage number. Search your deck for a Supporter card and discard it. Shuffle your deck afterward. Then, use the effect of that card as the effect of this attack. Overconfident is another attack lists 10 damage. The cost is Darkness. If the Defending Pokémon has fewer remaining HP than Sableye, this attack's base damage is 40. Resistance is Colorless -20. Retreat cost is 1.

I keep a set binder for Stormfront, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Stormfront set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Sableye can fill a slot in Generation 3 binder (Hoenn). I still need this card.
