Empoleon is Pokédex #395, generation 4 (Sinnoh). Empoleon LV.X is a Level-Up Water Pokémon with 140 HP. The card lists level X. The card says it evolves from Empoleon. In this catalog that name is Empoleon (#395).
Empoleon LV.X sits at DP11/56 in DP Black Star Promos, position 11 of 56. Before it is DP10 Infernape LV.X, and after it is DP12 Lucario LV.X. The set belongs to the Diamond & Pearl series. It was released on May 1, 2007. The printed size is 56, and the checklist is the same length. The listed rarity is Promo.
Supreme Command is listed as Poké-Power. Once during your turn (before your attack), you may choose up to 2 cards from your opponent's hand without looking and put them face down next to the Defending Pokémon. (These cards are not in play or in your opponent's hand.) At the end of your opponent's next turn, return those cards to your opponent's hand. This power can't be used if Empoleon is affected by a Special Condition. The attack Hydro Impact lists no damage number. The cost is Water, Water, Water. Choose 1 of your opponent's Pokémon. This attack does 80 damage to that Pokémon (Don't apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokémon.) Empoleon can't attack during your next turn. Weakness is Lightning +30. Retreat cost is 2. The card text says: Put this card onto your Active Empoleon. Empoleon LV.X can use any attack, Poké-Power, or Poké-Body from its previous level.
Empoleon (#395) has 22 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 18 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2007 to 2025. The earliest other card is Empoleon 4/130 in Diamond & Pearl (2007). That card is named Empoleon, while this one is Empoleon LV.X. That card lists 130 HP, and this one lists 140 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Promo. Nakaoka illustrated that card, and Shizurow illustrated this one. 16 other cards of Empoleon list a different HP.
The illustrator line reads Shizurow. I count 79 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.
DP Black Star Promos set binder is where a full DP Black Star Promos set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Empoleon can fill a slot in Generation 4 binder (Sinnoh). I still need this card.
