Mewtwo LV.X DP28/56 · DP Black Star Promos

Mewtwo is Pokédex #150, generation 1 (Kanto). Mewtwo LV.X is a Level-Up Psychic Pokémon with 120 HP. The card lists level X. The card says it evolves from Mewtwo. In this catalog that name is Mewtwo (#150).

Mewtwo LV.X sits at DP28/56 in DP Black Star Promos, position 28 of 56. Before it is DP27 Palkia, and after it is DP29 Rhyperior LV.X. The set belongs to the Diamond & Pearl series. It was released on May 1, 2007. The printed size is 56, and the checklist is the same length. The listed rarity is Promo.

Psybarrier is listed as Poké-Body. Prevent all effects of attacks, including damage, done to Mewtwo by your opponent's Pokémon that isn't an Evolved Pokémon. The attack Giga Burn lists 120 damage. The cost is Psychic, Psychic, Colorless. Discard all Energy attached to Mewtwo. Weakness is Psychic ×2. Retreat cost is 2. The card text says: Put this card onto your Active Mewtwo. Mewtwo LV.X can use any attack, Poké-Power, or Poké-Body from its previous level.

Mewtwo (#150) has 88 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 41 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 1999 to 2026. The earliest other card is Mewtwo 10/102 in Base (1999). That card is named Mewtwo, while this one is Mewtwo LV.X. That card lists 60 HP, and this one lists 120 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Promo. Ken Sugimori illustrated that card, and Shizurow illustrated this one. Retreat cost there is 3, and here it is 2. 80 other cards of Mewtwo list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Shizurow. I count 79 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

DP Black Star Promos set binder is where a full DP Black Star Promos set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Mewtwo can fill a slot in Generation 1 binder (Kanto). Themed lists that include this exact card are Mew and Mewtwo and Pokémon LV.X. I still need this card.
