Gengar is a Stage 2 Psychic Pokémon with 100 HP. In the Pokédex this is Gengar (#094), generation 1 (Kanto). The card says it evolves from Haunter. In this catalog that name is Haunter (#093).

Kyoko Umemoto illustrated this card. The same name is on 174 other cards in the catalog.

Gengar (#094) has 52 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 35 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 1999 to 2026. The earliest other card is Gengar 5/62 in Fossil (1999). That card lists 80 HP, and this one lists 100 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Rare. Keiji Kinebuchi illustrated that card, and Kyoko Umemoto illustrated this one. Retreat cost there is 1, and here it is 2. 50 other cards of Gengar list a different HP.

Manipulate is listed as Poké-Power. When you play Gengar from your hand to evolve your Active Pokémon, you may put a Basic Pokémon (excluding Baby Pokémon) from your discard pile onto your Bench. Then, flip 3 coins. For each heads, choose a basic Energy card from your discard pile and attach it to that Pokémon. The attack Hydrokinesis lists 40 damage. The cost is Psychic, Psychic, Colorless, Colorless. Flip a coin. If heads, the Defending Pokémon is now Burned. If tails, the Defending Pokémon is now Confused. Weakness is Darkness ×2. Resistance is Fighting -30. Retreat cost is 2.

I keep a set binder for Skyridge, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Skyridge set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Gengar can fill a slot in Generation 1 binder (Kanto). Themed lists that include this exact card are Gengar and the Gastly line. I still need this card.
