Alakazam H1/144 · Skyridge

Skyridge is a set in the E-Card series. It was released on May 12, 2003. The printed size is 144. This checklist is longer, at 182 cards. Alakazam is H1/144, in position 151 of 182 on this checklist. Before it is 150 Kabutops, and after it is H2 Arcanine. The listed rarity is Rare Holo.

Alakazam is a Stage 2 Psychic Pokémon with 100 HP. In the Pokédex this is Alakazam (#065), generation 1 (Kanto). The card says it evolves from Kadabra. In this catalog that name is Kadabra (#064).

Kimiya Masago illustrated this card. The same name is on 24 other cards in the catalog.

Alakazam (#065) has 28 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 19 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 1999 to 2025. The earliest other card is Alakazam 1/102 in Base (1999). That card lists 80 HP, and this one lists 100 HP. Both list the rarity Rare Holo. Ken Sugimori illustrated that card, and Kimiya Masago illustrated this one. Retreat cost there is 3, and here it is 2. 23 other cards of Alakazam list a different HP.

Energy Jump is listed as Poké-Power. Once during your turn (before your attack), you may move an Energy card from 1 of your Pokémon to another of your Pokémon. This power can't be used if Alakazam is affected by a Special Condition. The attack Psychic lists 30+ damage. The cost is Colorless, Colorless, Colorless. This attack does 30 damage plus 10 more damage for each Energy card attached to the Defending Pokémon. Weakness is Psychic ×2. Retreat cost is 2.

I keep a set binder for Skyridge, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Skyridge set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Alakazam can fill a slot in Generation 1 binder (Kanto). I still need this card.
