Raichu H25/144 · Skyridge

Skyridge is a set in the E-Card series. It was released on May 12, 2003. The printed size is 144. This checklist is longer, at 182 cards. Raichu is H25/144, in position 175 of 182 on this checklist. Before it is H24 Poliwrath, and after it is H26 Raikou. The listed rarity is Rare Holo.

Raichu is a Stage 1 Lightning Pokémon with 80 HP. In the Pokédex this is Raichu (#026), generation 1 (Kanto). The card says it evolves from Pikachu. In this catalog that name is Pikachu (#025).

Yuka Morii illustrated this card. The same name is on 204 other cards in the catalog.

Raichu (#026) has 70 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 52 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 1999 to 2026. The earliest other card is Raichu 14/102 in Base (1999). Both list 80 HP. Both list the rarity Rare Holo. Ken Sugimori illustrated that card, and Yuka Morii illustrated this one. 58 other cards of Raichu list a different HP.

The attack Zzzap lists no damage number. The cost is Colorless, Colorless. This attack does 20 damage to each Pokémon with a Poké-Body or Poké-Power (yours and your opponent's). (Don't apply Weakness or Resistance.) Lightning Storm is another attack lists 50 damage. The cost is Lightning, Colorless, Colorless. Flip a coin. If tails, put 2 damage counters on Raichu. Weakness is Fighting ×2. Retreat cost is 1.

I keep a set binder for Skyridge, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Skyridge set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Raichu can fill a slot in Generation 1 binder (Kanto). Themed lists that include this exact card are Yuka Morii clay cards and Pikachu's friends. I still need this card.
