Delcatty 5/109 · Ruby & Sapphire

Ruby & Sapphire is a set in the EX series. It was released on July 1, 2003. The printed size is 109, and the checklist is the same length. Delcatty is 5/109, in position 5 of 109 on this checklist. Before it is 4 Camerupt, and after it is 6 Dustox. The listed rarity is Rare Holo.

Delcatty is a Stage 1 Colorless Pokémon with 70 HP. In the Pokédex this is Delcatty (#301), generation 3 (Hoenn). The card says it evolves from Skitty. In this catalog that name is Skitty (#300).

Atsuko Nishida illustrated this card. The same name is on 408 other cards in the catalog.

Delcatty (#301) has 18 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 18 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2003 to 2026. The earliest other card is Delcatty 29/109 in Ruby & Sapphire (2003). That card lists 80 HP, and this one lists 70 HP. The rarity there is Uncommon, and here it is Rare Holo. Ken Sugimori illustrated that card, and Atsuko Nishida illustrated this one. 16 other cards of Delcatty list a different HP.

Energy Draw is listed as Poké-Power. Once during your turn (before your attack), you may discard 1 Energy card from your hand. Then draw up to 3 cards from your deck. This power can't be used if Delcatty is affected by a Special Condition. The attack Max Energy Source lists 10× damage. The cost is Colorless. Does 10 damage times the amount of Energy attached to all of your Active Pokémon. Weakness is Fighting ×2. Retreat cost is 1.

I keep a set binder for Ruby & Sapphire, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Ruby & Sapphire set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Delcatty can fill a slot in Generation 3 binder (Hoenn). I still need this card.
