Aipom 34/115 · Unseen Forces

Unseen Forces is a set in the EX series. It was released on August 1, 2005. The printed size is 115. This checklist is longer, at 145 cards. Aipom is 34/115, in position 36 of 145 on this checklist. Before it is 33 Tyrogue, and after it is 35 Bayleef. The listed rarity is Uncommon.

Aipom is a Basic Colorless Pokémon with 50 HP. In the Pokédex this is Aipom (#190), generation 2 (Johto). The card lists Ambipom, Ambipom (#424) under evolves to.

Sachiko Adachi illustrated this card. The same name is on 41 other cards in the catalog.

Aipom (#190) has 18 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 16 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2000 to 2025. The earliest other card is Aipom 26/111 in Neo Genesis (2000). That card lists 40 HP, and this one lists 50 HP. Both list the rarity Uncommon. Hironobu Yoshida illustrated that card, and Sachiko Adachi illustrated this one. 16 other cards of Aipom list a different HP.

Snappy Move is listed as Poké-Power. Once during your turn (before your attack), if Aipom is on your Bench, you may draw a card. Then, discard all cards attached to Aipom and put Aipom on the bottom of your deck. You can't use more than 1 Snappy Move Poké-Power each turn. The attack Snap Tail lists no damage number. The cost is Colorless. Choose 1 of your opponent's Pokémon. This attack does 10 damage to that Pokémon. (Don't apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokémon.) Weakness is Fighting ×2. Retreat cost is 1.

I keep a set binder for Unseen Forces, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Unseen Forces set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Aipom can fill a slot in Generation 2 binder (Johto). I still need this card.
