Mewtwo δ 12/113 · Delta Species

Mewtwo is Pokédex #150, generation 1 (Kanto). Mewtwo δ is a Basic Fire Metal Pokémon with 70 HP.

Mewtwo δ sits at 12/113 in Delta Species, position 12 of 114. Before it is 11 Metagross δ, and after it is 13 Rayquaza δ. The set belongs to the EX series. It was released on October 31, 2005. The printed size is 113. This checklist is longer, at 114 cards. The listed rarity is Rare Holo.

Delta Switch is listed as Poké-Power. Once during your turn, when you put Mewtwo from your hand onto your Bench, you may move any number of basic Energy cards attached to your Pokémon to your other Pokémon (excluding Mewtwo) in any way you like. The attack Energy Burst lists 10× damage. The cost is Fire, Metal. Does 10 damage times the total amount of Energy attached to Mewtwo and the Defending Pokémon. Weakness is Psychic ×2. Retreat cost is 1. The card text says: This Pokémon is both Fire Metal type.

Mewtwo (#150) has 88 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 41 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 1999 to 2026. The earliest other card is Mewtwo 10/102 in Base (1999). That card is named Mewtwo, while this one is Mewtwo δ. That card lists 60 HP, and this one lists 70 HP. Both list the rarity Rare Holo. Ken Sugimori illustrated that card, and Ryo Ueda illustrated this one. Retreat cost there is 3, and here it is 1. 80 other cards of Mewtwo list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Ryo Ueda. I count 462 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Delta Species set binder is where a full Delta Species set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Mewtwo can fill a slot in Generation 1 binder (Kanto). Themed lists that include this exact card are Delta Species cards. I still need this card.
