Pikachu ★ 104/110 · Holon Phantoms

Pikachu is Pokédex #025, generation 1 (Kanto). Pikachu ★ is a Basic Star Lightning Pokémon with 60 HP.

Pikachu ★ sits at 104/110 in Holon Phantoms, position 104 of 111. Before it is 103 Mewtwo ★, and after it is 105 Grass Energy. The set belongs to the EX series. It was released on May 1, 2006. The printed size is 110. This checklist is longer, at 111 cards. The listed rarity is Rare Holo Star.

The attack Thundershock lists 10 damage. The cost is Colorless. Flip a coin. If heads, the Defending Pokémon is now Paralyzed. Spring Back is another attack lists 20+ damage. The cost is Lightning, Lightning. If your opponent has only 1 Prize card left, this attack does 20 damage plus 50 more damage. Weakness is Fighting ×2. Retreat cost is 1. The card text says: You can't have more than 1 Pokémon Star in your deck.

Pikachu (#025) has 212 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 90 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 1999 to 2026. The earliest other card is Pikachu 58/102 in Base (1999). That card is named Pikachu, while this one is Pikachu ★. That card lists 40 HP, and this one lists 60 HP. The rarity there is Common, and here it is Rare Holo Star. Mitsuhiro Arita illustrated that card, and Masakazu Fukuda illustrated this one. 144 other cards of Pikachu list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Masakazu Fukuda. I count 471 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Holon Phantoms set binder is where a full Holon Phantoms set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Pikachu can fill a slot in Generation 1 binder (Kanto). Themed lists that include this exact card are All Pikachu cards. I still need this card.
