Omastar δ 13/110 · Holon Phantoms

Holon Phantoms is a set in the EX series. It was released on May 1, 2006. The printed size is 110. This checklist is longer, at 111 cards. Omastar δ is 13/110, in position 13 of 111 on this checklist. Before it is 12 Latios δ, and after it is 14 Pidgeot δ. The listed rarity is Rare Holo.

Omastar δ is a Stage 2 Psychic Pokémon with 110 HP. In the Pokédex this is Omastar (#139), generation 1 (Kanto). The card says it evolves from Omanyte. In this catalog that name is Omanyte (#138).

Midori Harada illustrated this card. The same name is on 352 other cards in the catalog.

Omastar (#139) has 16 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 14 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 1999 to 2023. The earliest other card is Omastar 40/62 in Fossil (1999). That card is named Omastar, while this one is Omastar δ. That card lists 70 HP, and this one lists 110 HP. The rarity there is Uncommon, and here it is Rare Holo. Ken Sugimori illustrated that card, and Midori Harada illustrated this one. Retreat cost there is 1, and here it is 2. 13 other cards of Omastar list a different HP.

The attack Bind lists 30 damage. The cost is Psychic, Colorless. Flip a coin. If heads, the Defending Pokémon is now Paralyzed. Vengeful Spikes is another attack lists 30+ damage. The cost is Psychic, Colorless, Colorless. Does 30 damage plus 10 more damage for each Omanyte, Omastar, Kabuto, Kabutops, and Kabutops ex in your discard pile. You can't add more than 60 damage in this way. Weakness is Lightning ×2. Retreat cost is 2.

I keep a set binder for Holon Phantoms, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Holon Phantoms set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Omastar can fill a slot in Generation 1 binder (Kanto). Themed lists that include this exact card are Delta Species cards and Fossil Pokémon. I still need this card.
