Blastoise δ 2/100 · Crystal Guardians

Blastoise is Pokédex #009, generation 1 (Kanto). Blastoise δ is a Stage 2 Fighting Metal Pokémon with 110 HP. The card says it evolves from Wartortle. In this catalog that name is Wartortle (#008).

Blastoise δ sits at 2/100 in Crystal Guardians, position 2 of 100. Before it is 1 Banette, and after it is 3 Camerupt. The set belongs to the EX series. It was released on August 1, 2006. The printed size is 100, and the checklist is the same length. The listed rarity is Rare Holo.

Shield Veil is listed as Poké-Body. Each of your Active Pokémon has no Weakness. The attack Enraged Linear Attack lists no damage number. The cost is Fighting, Colorless. Choose 1 of your opponent's Pokémon. This attack does 10 damage for each damage counter on Blastoise to that Pokémon. (Don't apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokémon.) Skull Bash is another attack lists 60 damage. The cost is Metal, Colorless, Colorless. Weakness is Lightning ×2. Retreat cost is 3. The card text says: This Pokémon is both Fighting Metal type.

Blastoise (#009) has 44 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 27 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 1999 to 2024. The earliest other card is Blastoise 2/102 in Base (1999). That card is named Blastoise, while this one is Blastoise δ. That card lists 100 HP, and this one lists 110 HP. Both list the rarity Rare Holo. Ken Sugimori illustrated that card, and Masakazu Fukuda illustrated this one. 44 other cards of Blastoise list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Masakazu Fukuda. I count 471 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Crystal Guardians set binder is where a full Crystal Guardians set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Blastoise can fill a slot in Generation 1 binder (Kanto). Themed lists that include this exact card are Delta Species cards. I still need this card.
