Wynaut 70/108 · Power Keepers

Power Keepers is a set in the EX series. It was released on February 2, 2007. The printed size is 108, and the checklist is the same length. Wynaut is 70/108, in position 70 of 108 on this checklist. Before it is 69 Vulpix, and after it is 71 Battle Frontier. The listed rarity is Common.

Wynaut is a Basic Psychic Pokémon with 50 HP. In the Pokédex this is Wynaut (#360), generation 3 (Hoenn). The card lists Wobbuffet, Wobbuffet (#202) under evolves to.

Ken Sugimori illustrated this card. The same name is on 1,112 other cards in the catalog.

Wynaut (#360) has 4 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 4 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2003 to 2019. The earliest other card is Wynaut 54/100 in Sandstorm (2003). Both list 50 HP. The rarity there is Uncommon, and here it is Common. Kagemaru Himeno illustrated that card, and Ken Sugimori illustrated this one. 2 other cards of Wynaut list a different HP.

Baby Evolution is listed as Poké-Power. Once during your turn (before your attack), you may put Wobbuffet from your hand onto Wynaut (this counts as evolving Wynaut) and remove all damage counters from Wynaut. The attack Flail lists 10× damage. The cost is Colorless. Does 10 damage times the number of damage counters on Wynaut. Weakness is Psychic ×2. Retreat cost is 1.

I keep a set binder for Power Keepers, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Power Keepers set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Wynaut can fill a slot in Generation 3 binder (Hoenn). Themed lists that include this exact card are Baby Pokémon. I still need this card.
