Root Fossil 86/108 · Power Keepers

Root Fossil is a Trainer card. The listed subtypes are Item.

Root Fossil sits at 86/108 in Power Keepers, position 86 of 108. Before it is 85 Mysterious Fossil, and after it is 87 Darkness Energy. The set belongs to the EX series. It was released on February 2, 2007. The printed size is 108, and the checklist is the same length. The listed rarity is Common.

Spongy Stone is listed as Poké-Body. At any time between turns, remove 1 damage counter from Root Fossil. The card text says: Play Root Fossil as if it were a Basic Pokémon. While in play, Root Fossil counts as a Colorless Pokémon (as well as a Trainer card). Root Fossil has no attacks of its own, can't retreat, and can't be affected by any Special Conditions. If Root Fossil is Knocked Out, it doesn't count as a Knocked Out Pokémon. (Discard it anyway.) At any time during your turn before your attack, you may discard Root Fossil from play.

The illustrator line reads Ryo Ueda. I count 462 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Power Keepers set binder is where a full Power Keepers set goes. This card fills one slot there. I still need this card.
