Root Fossil 92/100 · Sandstorm

Root Fossil is a Trainer card. The listed subtypes are Item.

Root Fossil sits at 92/100 in Sandstorm, position 92 of 100. Before it is 91 Mysterious Fossil, and after it is 93 Multi Energy. The set belongs to the EX series. It was released on September 18, 2003. The printed size is 100, and the checklist is the same length. The listed rarity is Common.

Spongy Stone is listed as Poké-Body. At any time between turns, remove 1 damage counter from Root Fossil. The card text says: Play Root Fossil as if it were a Basic Pokémon. While in play, Root Fossil counts as a Colorless Pokémon (instead of a Trainer card). Root Fossil has no attacks of its own, can't retreat, and can't be affected by any Special Conditions. If Root Fossil is Knocked Out, it doesn't count as a Knocked Out Pokémon. (Discard it anyway.) At any time during your turn before your attack, you may discard Root Fossil from play.

The illustrator line reads Ryo Ueda. I count 462 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Sandstorm set binder is where a full Sandstorm set goes. This card fills one slot there. I still need this card.
