Igglybuff 37/101 · Hidden Legends

Igglybuff is Pokédex #174, generation 2 (Johto). Igglybuff is a Basic Colorless Pokémon with 50 HP. The card lists Jigglypuff, Jigglypuff (#039) under evolves to.

Igglybuff sits at 37/101 in Hidden Legends, position 37 of 102. Before it is 36 Golbat, and after it is 38 Lanturn. The set belongs to the EX series. It was released on June 1, 2004. The printed size is 101. This checklist is longer, at 102 cards. The listed rarity is Uncommon.

Baby Evolution is listed as Poké-Power. Once during your turn (before your attack), you may put Jigglypuff from your hand onto Igglybuff (this counts as evolving Igglybuff), and remove all damage counters from Igglybuff. The attack Set Song lists no damage number. The cost is Colorless. Search your deck for a Basic Pokémon and a basic Energy card, show them to your opponent, and put them into your hand. Shuffle your deck afterward. Weakness is Fighting ×2. Retreat cost is 1.

Igglybuff (#174) has 10 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 8 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 1999 to 2026. The earliest other card is Igglybuff 36/53 in Wizards Black Star Promos (1999). That card lists 30 HP, and this one lists 50 HP. The rarity there is Promo, and here it is Uncommon. Kagemaru Himeno illustrated that card, and Naoyo Kimura illustrated this one. 8 other cards of Igglybuff list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Naoyo Kimura. I count 256 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Hidden Legends set binder is where a full Hidden Legends set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Igglybuff can fill a slot in Generation 2 binder (Johto). Themed lists that include this exact card are Baby Pokémon. I still need this card.
