Regirock ex 98/101 · Hidden Legends

Hidden Legends is a set in the EX series. It was released on June 1, 2004. The printed size is 101. This checklist is longer, at 102 cards. Regirock ex is 98/101, in position 98 of 102 on this checklist. Before it is 97 Regice ex, and after it is 99 Registeel ex. The listed rarity is Rare Holo EX.

Regirock ex is a Basic ex Fighting Pokémon with 100 HP. In the Pokédex this is Regirock (#377), generation 3 (Hoenn).

Mitsuhiro Arita illustrated this card. The same name is on 721 other cards in the catalog.

Regirock (#377) has 18 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 16 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2005 to 2026. The earliest other card is Regirock ex 99/106 in Emerald (2005). That card lists 110 HP, and this one lists 100 HP. Both list the rarity Rare Holo EX. Hikaru Koike illustrated that card, and Mitsuhiro Arita illustrated this one. 18 other cards of Regirock list a different HP.

Healing Stone is listed as Poké-Body. At any time between turns, remove 1 damage counter from Regirock ex. The attack Tonnage lists 60+ damage. The cost is Fighting, Fighting, Colorless. You may do 60 damage plus 20 more damage. If you do, Regirock ex does 30 damage to itself. Weakness is Water ×2. Retreat cost is 3. The card text says: When Pokémon-ex has been Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards.

I keep a set binder for Hidden Legends, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Hidden Legends set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Regirock can fill a slot in Generation 3 binder (Hoenn). Themed lists that include this exact card are Mitsuhiro Arita cards. I still need this card.
