Lt. Surge is a Trainer card.
Lt. Surge sits at 101/132 in Gym Heroes, position 101 of 132. Before it is 100 Erika, and after it is 102 Misty. The set belongs to the Gym series. It was released on August 14, 2000. The printed size is 132, and the checklist is the same length. The listed rarity is Rare.
The card text says: You can play this card only if you have at least 1 Basic Pokémon card in your hand. Put a Basic Pokémon card from your hand into play as your Active Pokémon. Put your old Active Pokémon onto your Bench. (You can't play this card if your Bench is full.)
The illustrator line reads Ken Sugimori. I count 1,112 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.
Gym Heroes set binder is where a full Gym Heroes set goes. This card fills one slot there. Themed lists that include this exact card are Kanto Gym Leaders and their Pokémon and Lt. Surge and his Pokémon. I still need this card.
