Ninetales is Pokédex #038, generation 1 (Kanto). Brock's Ninetales is a Stage 1 Fire Pokémon with 70 HP. The card lists level 30. The card says it evolves from Brock's Vulpix. In this catalog that name is Vulpix (#037).
Brock's Ninetales sits at 3/132 in Gym Challenge, position 3 of 132. Before it is 2 Blaine's Charizard, and after it is 4 Erika's Venusaur. The set belongs to the Gym series. It was released on October 16, 2000. The printed size is 132, and the checklist is the same length. The listed rarity is Rare Holo.
Shapeshift is listed as Pokémon Power. Once during your turn (before your attack), you may attach an Evolution card from your hand to Brock's Ninetales. (This doesn't count as evolving Brock's Ninetales.) Treat Brock's Ninetales as if it were that Pokémon instead. It can't evolve, devolve, or use the Pokémon Power of that Pokémon. During your turn, you may discard the Evolution card attached to Brock's Ninetales. This power can't be used if Brock's Ninetales is Asleep, Confused, or Paralyzed. If Brock's Ninetales becomes Asleep, Confused, or Paralyzed, discard all Evolution cards attached to it. The attack Will-o'-the-wisp lists 30 damage. The cost is Fire, Fire. Weakness is Water ×2. Retreat cost is 1.
Ninetales (#038) has 55 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 41 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 1999 to 2026. The earliest other card is Ninetales 12/102 in Base (1999). That card is named Ninetales, while this one is Brock's Ninetales. That card lists 80 HP, and this one lists 70 HP. Both list the rarity Rare Holo. 52 other cards of Ninetales list a different HP.
The illustrator line reads Ken Sugimori. I count 1,112 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.
Gym Challenge set binder is where a full Gym Challenge set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Ninetales can fill a slot in Generation 1 binder (Kanto). Themed lists that include this exact card are Trainer's Pokémon, Kanto Gym Leaders and their Pokémon, Brock and his Pokémon, and Vulpix and Ninetales. I still need this card.
