Furret 21/123 · HeartGold & SoulSilver

HeartGold & SoulSilver is a set in the HeartGold & SoulSilver series. It was released on February 10, 2010. The printed size is 123. This checklist is longer, at 124 cards. Furret is 21/123, in position 21 of 124 on this checklist. Before it is 20 Feraligatr, and after it is 22 Granbull. The listed rarity is Rare.

Furret is a Stage 1 Colorless Pokémon with 80 HP. In the Pokédex this is Furret (#162), generation 2 (Johto). The card says it evolves from Sentret. In this catalog that name is Sentret (#161).

MAHOU illustrated this card. The same name is on 122 other cards in the catalog.

Furret (#162) has 9 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 8 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2000 to 2025. The earliest other card is Furret 35/111 in Neo Genesis (2000). That card lists 60 HP, and this one lists 80 HP. The rarity there is Uncommon, and here it is Rare. Ken Sugimori illustrated that card, and MAHOU illustrated this one. 7 other cards of Furret list a different HP.

The attack Find a Friend lists no damage number. The cost is Colorless. Search your deck for a Pokémon, show it to your opponent, and put it into your hand. Shuffle your deck afterward. Quick Blow is another attack lists 20+ damage. The cost is Colorless, Colorless. Flip a coin. If heads, this attack does 20 damage plus 20 more damage. Weakness is Fighting ×2. Retreat cost is 1. The flavor text reads "It makes a nest to suit its long and skinny body. The nest is impossible for other Pokémon to enter."

I keep a set binder for HeartGold & SoulSilver, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the HeartGold & SoulSilver set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Furret can fill a slot in Generation 2 binder (Johto). I still need this card.
