Minun HGSS17/25 · HGSS Black Star Promos

Minun is Pokédex #312, generation 3 (Hoenn). Minun is a Basic Lightning Pokémon with 60 HP.

Minun sits at HGSS17/25 in HGSS Black Star Promos, position 17 of 25. Before it is HGSS16 Plusle, and after it is HGSS18 Tropical Tidal Wave. The set belongs to the HeartGold & SoulSilver series. It was released on February 10, 2010. The printed size is 25, and the checklist is the same length. The listed rarity is Promo.

The attack Call for Family lists no damage number. The cost is Colorless. Search your deck for up to 2 Basic Pokémon and put them onto your Bench. Shuffle your deck afterward. Tag Team Boost is another attack lists 10+ damage. The cost is Lightning. If Plusle is on your Bench, this attack does 10 damage plus 20 more damage. Weakness is Fighting ×2. Resistance is Metal -20. Retreat cost is 1. The flavor text reads "Exposure to electricity from Minun and Plusle promotes blood circulation and relaxes muscles."

Minun (#312) has 19 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 18 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2003 to 2023. The earliest other card is Minun 7/97 in Dragon (2003). That card lists 50 HP, and this one lists 60 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Promo. Atsuko Nishida illustrated that card, and Kouki Saitou illustrated this one. 10 other cards of Minun list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Kouki Saitou. I count 652 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

HGSS Black Star Promos set binder is where a full HGSS Black Star Promos set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Minun can fill a slot in Generation 3 binder (Hoenn). Themed lists that include this exact card are Pikachu's friends. I still need this card.
