Totodile 18/25 · McDonald's Collection 2021

Totodile is Pokédex #158, generation 2 (Johto). Totodile is a Basic Water Pokémon with 60 HP. The card lists Croconaw, Croconaw (#159) under evolves to.

Totodile sits at 18/25 in McDonald's Collection 2021, position 18 of 25. Before it is 17 Squirtle, and after it is 19 Mudkip. The set belongs to the Other series. It was released on February 9, 2021. The printed size is 25, and the checklist is the same length.

The attack Fury Strikes lists 10× damage. The cost is Water. Flip 3 coins. This attack does 10 damage times the number of heads. Weakness is Grass ×2. Retreat cost is 1. The flavor text reads "It is small but rough and tough. It won't hesitate to take a bite out of anything that moves."

Totodile (#158) has 18 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 16 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2000 to 2026. The earliest other card is Totodile 80/111 in Neo Genesis (2000). That card lists 40 HP, and this one lists 60 HP. Ken Sugimori illustrated that card, and Kagemaru Himeno illustrated this one. 13 other cards of Totodile list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Kagemaru Himeno. I count 656 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

McDonald's Collection 2021 set binder is where a full McDonald's Collection 2021 set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Totodile can fill a slot in Generation 2 binder (Johto). I still need this card.
