Bewear 12/15 · McDonald's Collection 2022
McDonald's Collection 2022 is a set in the Other series. It was released on August 3, 2022. The printed size is 15, and the checklist is the same length. Bewear is 12/15, in position 12 of 15 on this checklist. Before it is 11 Cutiefly, and after it is 13 Pangoro.
Bewear is a Stage 1 Fighting Pokémon with 130 HP. In the Pokédex this is Bewear (#760), generation 7 (Alola). The card says it evolves from Stufful. In this catalog that name is Stufful (#759).
Shigenori Negishi illustrated this card. The same name is on 151 other cards in the catalog.
Bewear (#760) has 12 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 10 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2017 to 2025. The earliest other card is Bewear 112/149 in Sun & Moon (2017). Both list 130 HP. kirisAki illustrated that card, and Shigenori Negishi illustrated this one. 5 other cards of Bewear list a different HP.
The attack Split Spiral Punch lists 40 damage. The cost is Fighting, Colorless. Your opponent's Active Pokémon is now Confused. Strength is another attack lists 130 damage. The cost is Fighting, Fighting, Colorless. Weakness is Psychic ×2. Retreat cost is 3. The flavor text reads "The moves it uses to take down its prey would make a martial artist jealous. It tucks subdued prey under its arms to carry them to its nest." The regulation mark is E.
I keep a set binder for McDonald's Collection 2022, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the McDonald's Collection 2022 set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Bewear can fill a slot in Generation 7 binder (Alola). I still need this card.
