Krookodile 66/94 · Phantasmal Flames

Krookodile is Pokédex #553, generation 5 (Unova). Krookodile is a Stage 2 Darkness Pokémon with 170 HP. The card says it evolves from Krokorok. In this catalog that name is Krokorok (#552).

Krookodile sits at 66/94 in Phantasmal Flames, position 66 of 130. Before it is 65 Krokorok, and after it is 67 Toxel. The set belongs to the Mega Evolution series. It was released on November 14, 2025. The printed size is 94. This checklist is longer, at 130 cards. The listed rarity is Uncommon.

The attack Vengeful Fang lists 60+ damage. The cost is Darkness. If any of your Pokémon were Knocked Out by damage from an attack during your opponent's last turn, this attack does 160 more damage. Hammer In is another attack lists 160 damage. The cost is Darkness, Colorless, Colorless, Colorless. Weakness is Grass ×2. Retreat cost is 3. The flavor text reads "After clamping down with its powerful jaws, it twists its body around to rip its prey in half." The regulation mark is I.

Krookodile (#553) has 15 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 14 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2011 to 2026. The earliest other card is Krookodile 65/114 in Black & White (2011). That card lists 140 HP, and this one lists 170 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Uncommon. Masakazu Fukuda illustrated that card, and Ryuta Fuse illustrated this one. 12 other cards of Krookodile list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Ryuta Fuse. I count 98 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Phantasmal Flames set binder is where a full Phantasmal Flames set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Krookodile can fill a slot in Generation 5 binder (Unova). I still need this card.
