Team Rocket's Dugtrio 101/217 · Ascended Heroes

Ascended Heroes is a set in the Mega Evolution series. It was released on January 30, 2026. The printed size is 217. This checklist is longer, at 295 cards. Team Rocket's Dugtrio is 101/217, in position 101 of 295 on this checklist. Before it is 100 Team Rocket's Diglett, and after it is 102 Hitmontop. The listed rarity is Uncommon.

Team Rocket's Dugtrio is a Stage 1 Fighting Pokémon with 100 HP. In the Pokédex this is Dugtrio (#051), generation 1 (Kanto). The card says it evolves from Team Rocket's Diglett. In this catalog that name is Diglett (#050).

KEIICHIRO ITO illustrated this card. The same name is on 50 other cards in the catalog.

Dugtrio (#051) has 30 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 26 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 1999 to 2026. The earliest other card is Dugtrio 19/102 in Base (1999). That card is named Dugtrio, while this one is Team Rocket's Dugtrio. That card lists 70 HP, and this one lists 100 HP. The rarity there is Rare, and here it is Uncommon. Keiji Kinebuchi illustrated that card, and KEIICHIRO ITO illustrated this one. Retreat cost there is 2, and here it is 1. 28 other cards of Dugtrio list a different HP.

Holes is listed as Ability. Whenever your opponent's Active Pokémon moves to the Bench during their turn, place 2 damage counters on that Pokémon. The attack Mud Shot lists 50 damage. The cost is Fighting, Colorless. Weakness is Grass ×2. Retreat cost is 1. The flavor text reads "In battle, it digs through the ground and strikes the unsuspecting foe from an unexpected direction." The regulation mark is I.

I keep a set binder for Ascended Heroes, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Ascended Heroes set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Dugtrio can fill a slot in Generation 1 binder (Kanto). Themed lists that include this exact card are Trainer's Pokémon and Team Rocket cards. I still need this card.
