Dragonair 151/217 · Ascended Heroes

Dragonair is Pokédex #148, generation 1 (Kanto). Dragonair is a Stage 1 Dragon Pokémon with 100 HP. The card says it evolves from Dratini. In this catalog that name is Dratini (#147).

Dragonair sits at 151/217 in Ascended Heroes, position 151 of 295. Before it is 150 Dratini, and after it is 152 Mega Dragonite ex. The set belongs to the Mega Evolution series. It was released on January 30, 2026. The printed size is 217. This checklist is longer, at 295 cards. The listed rarity is Uncommon.

Evolutionary Guidance is listed as Ability. Once during your turn, if this Pokémon has any Energy attached, you may use this Ability. Search your deck for an Evolution Pokémon, reveal it, and put it into your hand. Then, shuffle your deck. The attack Tail Snap lists 60 damage. The cost is Water, Lightning. Retreat cost is 2. The flavor text reads "Its crystalline orbs appear to give this Pokémon the power to freely control the weather." The regulation mark is I.

Dragonair (#148) has 28 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 23 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 1999 to 2023. The earliest other card is Dragonair 18/102 in Base (1999). That card lists 80 HP, and this one lists 100 HP. The rarity there is Rare, and here it is Uncommon. Mitsuhiro Arita illustrated that card, and Gemi illustrated this one. 21 other cards of Dragonair list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Gemi. I count 19 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Ascended Heroes set binder is where a full Ascended Heroes set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Dragonair can fill a slot in Generation 1 binder (Kanto). I still need this card.
