Team Rocket's Hypnotizer 206/217 · Ascended Heroes

Ascended Heroes is a set in the Mega Evolution series. It was released on January 30, 2026. The printed size is 217. This checklist is longer, at 295 cards. Team Rocket's Hypnotizer is 206/217, in position 206 of 295 on this checklist. Before it is 205 Team Rocket's Great Ball, and after it is 207 Team Rocket's Petrel. The listed rarity is Uncommon.

Team Rocket's Hypnotizer is a Trainer card. The listed subtypes are Pokémon Tool.

Toyste Beach illustrated this card. The same name is on 284 other cards in the catalog.

Hypno (#097) has 23 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 20 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 1999 to 2025. The earliest other card is Hypno 8/62 in Fossil (1999). That card is named Hypno, while this one is Team Rocket's Hypnotizer. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Uncommon. Ken Sugimori illustrated that card, and Toyste Beach illustrated this one.

The card text says: If the Team Rocket's Pokémon this card is attached to is in the Active Spot and is damaged by an attack from your opponent's Pokémon (even if this Team Rocket's Pokémon is Knocked Out), the Attacking Pokémon is now Asleep. The card text says: You may attach any number of Pokémon Tools to your Pokémon during your turn. You may attach only 1 Pokémon Tool to each Pokémon, and it stays attached. The regulation mark is I.

I keep a set binder for Ascended Heroes, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Ascended Heroes set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Hypno can fill a slot in Generation 1 binder (Kanto). Themed lists that include this exact card are Team Rocket cards. I still need this card.
